REM

Commercial

2023

Montreal

From the earliest stages, the project brought together the consortium of architects Lemay + Perkins & Will + Bisson Fortin to define the materiality of the stations. A collaborative approach made it possible to develop solutions that balance architectural coherence, durability, and technical performance.

High-performance materials

The stations incorporate terrazzo-effect porcelain flooring, customized to reflect the visual identity of each branch of the network, as well as wall coverings inspired by the subway tile format, developed in specific dimensions. The selected materials meet high standards of durability, safety, and accessibility, including slip-resistant surfaces and tactile tiles.

Through its involvement in the REM, Céragrès demonstrates its ability to translate complex architectural intentions into concrete, long-lasting material solutions, adapted to the realities of a major transit network and the daily use of millions of passengers.
