About the Role:

Reporting to the Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Strategy, the incumbent is responsible for the client experience at Céragrès Studio. They serve as a trusted resource for clients and design professionals, guiding them through residential and commercial projects.

Using a consultative approach, they welcome clients, assess their needs, understand project requirements and constraints, and recommend tailored solutions by leveraging the full Céragrès product offering and supplier catalogs.

The role also involves working closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless, professional, and inspiring client experience while contributing to the continued growth and evolution of Céragrès Studio.

Responsibilities:

Client Welcome & Project Consultation

  • Welcome clients and industry professionals with a warm, attentive, and consultative approach.
  • Deliver a professional, inspiring, and reassuring client experience.
  • Ask the right questions to fully understand project needs, objectives, and constraints.
  • Identify each client's profile, including designers, architects, contractors, developers, homeowners, tile installers, cabinetmakers, and other industry professionals.
  • Understand the desired aesthetic, technical requirements, budget, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Take the time to listen carefully and assess client needs before recommending solutions.
  • Maintain detailed project notes and ensure accurate follow-up on all key project information.

Presenting the Céragrès Offering

  • Present the full range of Céragrès products and services, including ceramic tile, porcelain, natural stone, marble, slate, mosaics, countertops, plumbing fixtures, installation products, regular collections, and special-order products.
  • Guide clients toward solutions that best align with their needs and budget.
  • Present premium, technical, and specialized products with confidence.
  • Coordinate information regarding product availability and lead times.
  • Help clients understand that Céragrès Studio provides access to the entire Céragrès ecosystem and product collections, extending well beyond the products physically displayed in the Studio.

Product Knowledge & Solution Development

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of Céragrès collections and supplier catalogs.
  • Understand product categories, formats, finishes, textures, colours, and pricing levels.
  • Quickly identify relevant information and recommend suitable alternatives.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to efficiently support product research.
  • Develop effective filing and reference systems to facilitate access to supplier catalogs and key product information.
  • Assist clients in identifying customized solutions, including specific colours, technical products, cost-effective alternatives, discontinued products, material coordination, and the integration of surfaces, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and furniture.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless and consistent client experience.
  • Partner with the Retail Showrooms, Commercial Sales team, Stone & Marble team, and Centerpiece.
  • Contribute to positioning Céragrès Studio as a central point of connection between clients, design professionals, suppliers, and Céragrès teams.

Céragrès Studio Operations & Development

  • Maintain a clean, professional, and inspiring Studio environment.
  • Ensure samples, displays, and catalogs are organized and kept up to date.
  • Maintain the visual presentation standards of Céragrès Studio.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the Studio layout, client experience, and product presentation.
  • Actively contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Céragrès Studio concept through observations and feedback from the field.
  • Gather and communicate feedback from clients and industry professionals to support continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Interior Design (an asset).
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a sales consulting role or a related field.
  • Knowledge of ceramic tile, fine plumbing, or finishing materials (a strong asset).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong interest in design and interior spaces.
  • Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Bilingual (French and English, spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
